Hugh-Nalder

Hugh Nalder, Chairman

Mr Nalder has extensive leadership and advisory experience. He led the Taxation Services practice for PricewaterhouseCoopers Brisbane office up to December 2004 when he stepped down. He is Deputy Chancellor, (Chairman) of the Governing Council of the Queensland University of Technology (“QUT”) and is chairman of QUT Bluebox Pty Ltd, which is responsible for the commercialisation of the University’s intellectual property. He also sits on a number of Boards of private sector enterprises and advises on strategic and governance matters. Mr Nalder is a Chartered Accountant, Fellow of CPA Australia, Fellow of Taxation Institute of Australia, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting).

David-Grace

David Grace, Director

Mr Grace is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, as well as being a Director of Indue Limited and Chairman of its Corporate Governance Committee. He has held past positions on public company boards particularly focused on agribusiness, including Queensland Cotton Corporation and Golden Circle. Mr Grace is a lawyer and a partner of Cooper Grace Ward. He specialises in commercial work, including Board duties and responsibilities and other corporate and competition law matters.

Stephen-Sexton

Stephen Sexton, Principal Scientist

Mr Sexton has over 30 years of scientific experience within the insect behaviour modifying technologies pest management industry and is recognised in Australia and globally as a leader in commercialisation of insect behaviour modifiers. In the 1980’s Mr Sexton helped convert his research to a product which is now the industry standard for moth control in fruit. Mr Sexton has established worldwide research and scientific networks. He combines agricultural science with entomology and chemistry to generate innovative product delivery systems for insect chemicals with a focus on clean, green and where possible natural products. Mr Sexton also interacts with the network to provide confirmation of in-house developments in terms of efficacy, shelf-life, product purity and pathways of action. Mr Sexton is an experienced field researcher which ensures potential products get the thorough practical field testing required to demonstrate their effectiveness to end users.

Torben Pedersen, Australian Sales Manager

Mr Pedersen is a senior sales professional with more than 10 years experience in the Australian Financial Services Industry, working as a Financial Planner and in Boutique Funds Management. He has a proven track record in developing new business and motivating a small team of sales professionals to consistently meeting or exceeding targets, especially in rural funds management. Mr Pedersen has a track record of developing plans and strategies ensuring strong personal relationships both in the context of business to business sales and to the end consumer resulting in repeat business and ongoing sales success. Mr Pedersen has been engaged by Bioglobal to drive the development of sales in existing and new markets for Bioglobal’s products in Australia.





Jisen Gao, General Manager, China

Mr Gao brings to Bioglobal’s Chinese operations in excess of 40 years experience in civil and electrical projects throughout China while working with 17th Chinese Metallurgical & Construction Company, a government owned corporation. During this time he held a number of senior positions, culminating in holding the position of General Manager, where he succeeded in returning the company to profitability and improved the culture of operations.  Since retiring, he has consulted to numerous construction projects throughout Eastern China. In 2009 Mr Gao established Bioglobal’s production facility in China.  He then led the successful commissioning of the facility in January 2010.  Mr Gao holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
